My very favorite of all psychological ailments is Seasonal Affective Disorder. Basically, when you have Seasonal Affective Disorder, your mood changes with the season – during the fall and winter months as the days shorten and it’s darker for longer, you get sadder. So: sunny = happy, darkness = sadness.

Why is this my favorite psych issue? Because the acronym for what you have is what happens to you! I have S.A.D. … and I’m sad.

BUT now that we turned the clocks back and it’s middle-of-the-night-dark outside at 4 pm, I can definitely understand S.A.D. I certainly would rather have it sunny at 6 pm than 4 am, wouldn’t you?

Bring back the sun!
